How it plays

Plan it. Boot it. Watch it walk.

You never steer a creature. You change the world it walks through, then let the beat decide.

01 Step 1 of 3
Read the dotted paths screen from the Wandering Stars intro

Read the dotted paths

Every star takes one step a beat and turns right when it bumps into an edge. Its whole route is drawn on the board before you touch a thing.

02 Step 2 of 3
Place your pieces screen from the Wandering Stars intro

Place your pieces

Arrows point a star somewhere new, nap cones hold it for a beat, and gloop repaints it to fit another hole. Each level hands you exactly the pieces it needs.

03 Step 3 of 3
Boot it, then smoosh screen from the Wandering Stars intro

Boot it, then smoosh

Sixteen beats play out at 100 BPM. Fill every black hole and the chord resolves. Walk two stars onto one square and they smoosh into something new.

Why it hooks you

Small board. Loud sky.

Sixteen beats, one plan

Every run is exactly 16 beats at 100 BPM: under ten seconds from Boot to verdict. The music is the clock, so every step, turn and smoosh lands right on the beat.

Beat 16 / 16

The Smoosh Book

78 two-creature pairs to discover, chimeras of three or more, and cursed versions that only form on the chord beats.

Preview before you commit

Drag along the beat bar and the board shows where every star stands on that beat, including the square where two of them are about to meet.

Board codes

Copy a short code from any result and paste it into Settings to replay that exact board, pieces and all. Same code, same smoosh, on any phone.

Hand-built levels

The Low Sky's 25 levels teach one idea at a time. Every one ships with a solution checked by the game's own simulator.

The cast

Twelve planets with legs

A bowling ball with a pug face. A washing machine wearing bunny slippers. Smoosh any two together and the Book gives them a name.
